First aid science from TinuvieL

I got myself beat up for science. Had Igby (first aid 15) bind me and went

55 to 109 hp

beat up again, bound myself (first aid 100) and went

53 to 107 hp

Soooo... it seems the advantage of having high first aid skill is being able to skillfully bind when drunk, carefully bind when very drunk. You can also bind when extremely drunk, but it's drunken binding ;)

Medicinal collar info from TinuvieL

I burned myself down to 1 hp and wore the medicinal collar with just one clump of herbs in it. In 10 minutes I was back to max hp (182) and continued to get messages about the soothing medicinal effects of the collar for another 5 minutes. Repeated again with same results. It was pretty boring to test so I'm not going to do it with increasing amounts of herbs to see how much longer it lasts. (Note: as armour it evals 'poor', adequate when blessed. Compare to golden collar which is adequate, good when blessed, and ficermade fine mithril which is good (and not blessable), fine steel which is adequate when blessed, presumed poor otherwise)

an Iceforge special = 44hp / 44sps = 6.36 coins per HP/SPS
A walrus rib 12hp / 12 sps = 5.16 coins per HP/SPS

16 Con:
Could eat 7 ribs before ex stuff = 84hp/sps
Could eat 4 deer before ex stuff = 80hp/sps
Could only drink 3 x brew = 72hp/sps (to very drunk)
Could drink 2 x venom = 88hp/sps (to ext drunk)

17 Con:
Could eat 8 ribs before ex stuff = 96hp/sps
Could eat 4 deer before ex stuff = 80hp/sps
Could only drink 3 x brew = 72hp/sps (to very drunk)
Could drink 2 x venom = 88hp/sps (to ext drunk)

Only tested for 16 con and 17 con so feel free to test with 18 etc...

Seems to me that the drinks dont matter too much, except that if you need hp or sps quickly then venom is good although it will take longer until you can drink again. I'd go with the brew's.

Ribs are the way to go too, more hp and sps per coins and you can get nearly 20% more hp and sps in before you are exremely stuffed.

few bits and pieces on regular heals

All these were tested at Level 19 with 16 con. The more HP you have the more you can eat it seems.

Cheese knigget 18hp/sps for 208 coins = 11.5 coins/hp
could eat 5 before ext stuffed = 90hp/sps 16con

trencher 15hp/sps for 180coins = 12 coins/hp
could eat 6 before ext stuffed = 90hp/sps 16con

wastelbread 17hp/sps for 200 coins = 11.76 coins/hp
could eat 5 before ext stuff = 85hp/sps 16con

Misha
Roast Duck 10 hp/sps for 100 coins 10 coins/hp
could eat 9 before ext stuffed = 90 hp/sps 16con

Kniggets and Duck from Misha. The other 2 are from 5n 2e s from X...forget the man's name.

Heals in Gemynd

A bottle of cat's meow 27hp/sps 150coins 5.5coins/HP
An oxtail pie 13hp/sps 160coins 12.3coins/HP
a loaf of bread 6hp/sps 100coins 16.6coins/HP
a tamarind tart 6hp/sps 110coins 18.3coins/HP
a loaf of pumpkin bread 11hp/sps 100coins 9coins/HP
a medium piece of bison 12hp/sps 110coins 9.2coins/HP

Didn't test them all, but here's a few... they dont seem to be very efficient cash / hp wise. Probably best to use only in emergencies.
